  1. Bogout for Windows

  4. This is a game based on the dice game boggle. It must be run under
  5. Microsoft Windows 3.0 or greater. There should be six files included:
  6.  
  7. BOGOUT.EXE     - Bogout game
  8. BOGOUT.HLP     - Bogout help file
  9. DICTIONARY.DAT - game dictionary
  10. DICTNARY.IDX   - index for dictionary
  11.  
  12. BOGOUT.DOC     - directions
  13. README.TXT     - this file
  14.  
  15. Copy the first four files to your windows directory, or a new directory.
  16. Go into the Program Manager in Windows, go into the Games group (or
  17. any other group you want the game in), choose File from the Program
  18. Manager menu, choose New from the File menu, and enter "Bogout" for
  19. description, enter the path where you copied bogout.exe and "bogout.exe"
  20. for the command line, and enter the path again for the working
  21. directory.

  23. Read the file BOGOUT.DOC for directions. This file is identical to the
  24. Windows help file.

  26. Quickstart - Click on the Game Menu. Click on New Game. Wait for the
  27. message "Game Ready". Click on "OK". Place the mouse over one of the
  28. squares. Hold down the mouse button. Drag the mouse over adjacent
  29. squares (left right, up, down, or diagonal). You will notice the letters
  30. appearing over the box labelled "Your Words". Release the mouse button.
  31. If the letters form a valid word, it will appear under "Your Words".
  32. Otherwise, you will get an error message.
